Let me first quote the hadith from sunni source:
If there was a prophet after me, then it would be Umar.

8. رواه الترمذي ( 2 / 293 ) و حسنه
source: Narrated by Al-Tirmidhi, vol. 2, page 293, and he said it is Hasan
قَالَ هَذَا حَدِيثٌ حَسَنٌ غَرِيبٌ لاَ نَعْرِفُهُ إِلاَّ مِنْ حَدِيثِ مِشْرَحِ بْنِ هَاعَانَ
Tirmidhi [rah] said: This hadeeth is strange/unique Hasan (hadith), we do not know of (this) hadith except from mishrah bin ha aan”.
& Mishrah bin ha aan: is “hasan in hadith” (see his tahqiq of Musnad Imam Ahmed, no.17,405).
و الروياني في ” مسنده ” ( 50 / 1
ثم رواه النجاد من طريق ابن لهيعة عن مشرح به . قلت : و هذا سند حسن رجاله كلهم ثقات ، و في مشرح كلام لا ينزل حديثه عن رتبة الحسن ، و قد وثقه ابن معين .
Then Al-Najaad narrated from the path of Ibn Layah from Mishrah from it. He said: And this sanad (chain of narrators) is Hasan, all of the rijaal (men) are thiqat (trustworthy), and about Mashrih words it does not lower his hadeeth from the degree of Hasan, and because he was (considered) thiqah (trustworthy) by Ibn Maeen.
The issue is that Ibn Hibban in Kitab al Majruhin (no.1068) has said that Mishrah reports unsupported munkar hadith from ‘Uqba b. Amir (Allah be well pleased with him) and concludes that we leave whatever he is alone in and accept whatever agrees with other reliable reporters.
The reason why Al-Albaani has said that this is Hasan is mainly because of the tawtheeq (authentication) of Ibn Maeen, he was seen a very strict guy when he would authentic someone. So whenever you see Ibn Maeen authenticiating someone, it holds alot of weight. And also, Al-Albaani’s conclusion was, that the stuff that was said about Mishrah doesn’t lower it from Al-Hasan. Al-Arnaut had this view of this Hadeeth after this hadeeth was narrated in Ahmad’s Musnad. (See: Al-Arna`ut, Tahqeeq Musnad ahmad bin Hanbal)
Comment: Hadith is authentic as whole.
& i don’t know why shia always mock on this hadith & say:
See wahabi/sunni believe Umar is equivalent to prophet & even claiming indirectly that Umar is prophet!!
Now lets see what shia hadith says:
أَنَّ قَوْماً أَتَوْا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ص فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ إِنَّا رَأَيْنَا أُنَاساً يَسْجُدُ بَعْضُهُمْ لِبَعْضٍ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص لَوْ أَمَرْتُ أَحَداً أَنْ يَسْجُدَ لِأَحَدٍ لَأَمَرْتُ الْمَرْأَةَ أَنْ تَسْجُدَ لِزَوْجِهَا
Abu Abdulah[as] said: A group came to the Messenger of Allah and said: ‘O Messenger of Allah, we say a people who some of them would prostrate to some. So the Messenger of Allah said: Were I to command anyone to prostrate to someone I would have command the wife to prostrate to her husband.
Kulayni in Al-Kafi, vol. 5, page 507 -508, hadeeth no. 6 & Al-Majlisi said this hadeeth has a Sahih in Mirat Al-Uqool, vol. 20, page 320
Note: As u can see blue colored statement from shia sahih hadith: That S.A.W. said “wife to prostrate to her husband”.
Now what shia say here! Did S.A.W. compared HUSBAND with ALLAH!!
