Ali bin Abi Talib describing himself in Shia books

Ali bin Abi Talib describing the blessings of Allah on him in Shia books

al-Salamu `Aleykum,

From the fascinating Shia book `Ilal al-Shara’i` vol1:

1- Muhammad ibn Ibrahim ibn Ishaq al-Taleqani – may God be pleased with him – narrated that Al-Hassan ibn Ali al-Ado’we quoted Ebad ibn Saheeb (ibn Ebad ibn Saheeb), on the authority of his father, on the authority of his forefather, on the authority of Ja’far ibn Muhammad as-Sadiq (as), “A man asked the Commander of the Faithful Imam Ali (as) about his medium height, big belly and lack of hair on his forehead. The Commander of the Faithful (as) replied, ‘The Blessed the Sublime God has created me neither tall nor short, but of medium height so that I can cut a short enemy into two pieces from head to toe, and cut a tall enemy into two pieces from his waist. My belly is big since the Prophet (saw) opened up to me a gate of knowledge from which a thousand doors to knowledge shall open up. Therefore, knowledge gathered up in my belly. And the reason why there is no hair on my forehead is that I have always worn a head armor and gone to fight with the enemy.”

2- My father (ra) told me and Muhammad bin al-Hassan (ra) they said: Ahmad bin Idris and Muhammad bin Yahya al-`Attar all of them from Ahmad bin Yahya bin `Imran al-Ash`ari with a connected isnad I did not memorize that Ameer al-Mu’mineen (as) said: “If Allah wishes well for his slave, he would strike him with baldness, and so I am(bald).”

Shia Hadith: People of Makkah & Madina are disbelievers – go to Kufa

Imami Shia fabricated these narrations and attributed them to Jafar bin Muhammad (rah). Jafar is free from their lies and fabrications. Anyways, lets read their dirty narrations:

Jafar Sadiq (as) said: The People of Makkah openly disbelieve in Allah, and the people of Madina are worse than the people of Makkah, seventy times worse.

[(al-Kafi vol.2, pg.409-410), (Jawahir al-Kalam of al-Jawahiri vo.6, pg.60), (the book of Taharah of al-Ansari vol.2, pg.385)]

From as-Sadiq (as): The people of Shaam are worse than the people of Rome. The people of Madina are worse than the people of Makkah. And the people of Makkah openly disbelieve in Allah (swt).

[al-Kafi vol.2, pg.209, hadith#3]

A person came to Abu ‘Abdallah (as) and said to him “Shall I go to Makkah?” He (as) replied “No, don’t do that, the people of Makkah openly disbelieve in Allah (swt)”. So I said “What about the Prophet’s Mosque” and he (as) replied “They are even worse”. So I asked, “Where shall I go then” and he (as) said “Go to Iraq or Kufa”.

[Tahdhib al-Ahkam of Tusi vol.6, pg.44), (Kamil al-Ziyarat pg.559), (Book of Tahara of al-Ansari vol.2, pg.358)]

Shia Infallible Imam was not knowledgeable – as per Shia narrations.

Seventh divinely appointed infallible Imam of Twelver Shia, Musa ‘al-Kadhim’ was not knowledgeable – as per Shia narrations.

By brother al-a3sha

The famous Shia narrator Abu Baseer attested to the fact that Al-Khadem was not very knowledgable. Al-Khoei said in Rijal Al-Hadith Vol 15 p. 154:

“Al-Shayk (i.e Al-Tusi) narrated this last narration through an isnad which could be considered, with a slight change in wording. He narrated through his isnad upto Ali Ibn Al-Hassan from Shuayb Al-Aqerkufi he said:” I asked Abu Al-Hassan (a.s)”… until he said: “and then I mentioned that to Abu Baseer (i.e the fatwa of Al-Khadem which is detailed in the next narration) so he said to me: by Allah Jafar (a.s) said: The woman is to be stoned and the man is to be flogged a hundred times as Hadd. And then he took his hands and placed them over his chest scratching it and saying: I do not think that the knowledge of one we are following has become complete yet (i.e referring to Al-Khazim).”

(Ref,: Al-Tahdeeb Vol 7. Chapter on additional (topics) with regards to Fiqdh of Marriage, Hadith # 1957, as well as Al-Istibsar Vol 3, Chapter on Man marrying a woman and then knowing after having relation with her that she has a husband. Hadith # 687)

He also narrated the content of this hadith through his chain upto Ahmad Ibn Muhammad from Ibn Abi Umair from Shuaib that he said: I asked Abu Al-Hassan (a.s) about a man marrying a married woman. He said: They have to be separated. I asked: Is he to be flogged? He said: No , he is not to be flogged. So I departed him, while Abu Baseer was next to the Meez-ab (i.e of the Kaaba) so I informed him about the question and answer. He said to me: Where am I? I said: you are next to the Meez-ab. He then lifted his hand and said: By the Lord of this House , or by the Lord of this Kaaba, I have heard Jafar say that Ali (a.s) gave a judgment about the man marrying a married woman that the woman be stoned and the man be flogged as Hadd. He then said: Had I known that you have known I would have bruised your head with stones. He then said: I am so scared that he (i.e Al-Khadem ) was not given his knowledge.

Shia Imams misguiding the people

al-Salamu ‘Aleykum,

I am sure you’ve all read this topic here which shows that the Imam himself is not trustworthy according to the Shia narrations:
Imams confusing and misguiding Shia

Now the Shia have this strange rule, their Imams supposedly advise them that everything which contradicts Ahlul-Sunnah is the true guidance, they tell their followers to do everything which opposes the “sunnies” basically because they believe we Muslims are misguided, however you later find the Imams contradicting themselves by ordering their followers to do exactly as the sunnies do with the excuse of Taqqiyah.

And here is another related topic:
The Role of Taqqiyah in weakening or strengthening narrations

The Imam according to the Shia intentionally misleads and misguides his followers as well as the mainstream Muslims (sunnah), in this topic we will quote the narrations quoted by the Shia scholar Yusuf al-Bahrani in the introduction of his book “al-Hadaeq al-Nadirah”, we read:

And to this points his saying (as):

“And if you(shia) all gather upon one thing then the people will believe you concerning us ect…”

And the Sheikh has also narrated in al-Tahtheeb in the SAHIH from Salim abu Khadeejah from abu ‘Abdullah (as): a man asked him (as) while I was present: “sometimes I would enter the mosque and I would see some of our companions(shia) praying ‘Asr while the others pray Zuhr?” he (as) replied: “I ordered them to do this because if they all prayed at the same time then our matter would be known and they would be executed.”

The Imam is very honest in his saying and in this case he did not do what the mainstream Muslims do as it is clear for them(sunnies) that the timing of both prayers are separate.

Also what is narrated by the sheikh in his book al-‘Iddah in the Mursal from al-Sadiq (as): “He was asked about the difference among our companions in timings(of acts of worship)” he (as) responded: “I am the one who made them differ among themselves.”

And what is narrated in al-Ihtijaj with its Sanad to Huraiz from abu ‘Abdullah (as), he said to the Imam: “There is nothing more saddening for me than the difference of our companions(shia)” the Imam (as) replied: “I did this.”

And what he narrated in the book Ma’anee al-Akhbar from al-Khazzaz from he who told him from abu al-Hasan(as) who said: “The difference among my companions is a mercy.” and he (as) also said: “When that happens I will unite you upon one thing.” and in another place he (as) was asked about the difference among our companions(Shia) so he (as) said: “I did this to you, and if you were to unite upon one matter then your heads will be taken.”

And what is narrated in al-Kafi with its Isnad from Musa bin Ashyam, he said: I was with abu ‘Abdullah (as) so a man asked him about a verse from the verses of the book of Allah almighty, he answered him then another man came and inquired about the same verse but he gave him a different answer from the first man, I then doubted him greatly – until he said – and while I was like this suddenly a man enters and asks about that same verse so he gave him an answer different from mine and my companion’s answers, so my doubts subsided and I realized this was Tqqiyah.” [Scans 1, 2, 3]

-END-

I ask the Shia who fear Allah, is this acceptable? The divine Imams who are sent  from God to guide men and rule the nation are living by Taqqiyah misguiding and confusing everyone?

NOTE: According to Ahlul-Sunnah the Imams are trustworthy scholars who never practice Taqqiyah, it is a shame such narrations are being attributed to them.

Why Shia Hadiths shouldn’t be trusted & taken?

Why we shouldn’t take the narrations of Jafar al Sadik or any other Imam from the Books of the Twelver Shiites?

Salam Aleykum,

Since I never got an answer regarding the science of Hadith in the Madhab of Twelver Shiites I thought I’d share what I Know so that we can all Both Sunni and Shii Benefit from it while giving brief translations of the sayings of shii scholars:

According to the Shiite scholars, The Science of Hadith in the Madhab of The Twelvers has never existed nor was it implemented before the 900s Hijri.

The Big Scholar Al Ha’iri “الحائري” In His book Muktabas el Athar “مقتبس الأثر” part 3 page 73 says:

Founders of Shia sects

al-Salamu `Aleykum,

This is the long awaited topic, the creators of Tashayyu`, those who came up with the concept, those who shaped it, those who set its laws… an advanced in depth topic that aims to reveal the identities of as many of the forgers and liars and evil-doers who created what we know today as “The Imami Shia”.

This thread will be a rough draft, names and narrations will be mentioned, we will rely on both Sunni and Shia books to uncover as many of these men as we can.

Ibn al-Sawda’ `Abdullah ibn Saba’ is undeniably and un-questionably the godfather of all Imami Shia sects, it is clearer than the sun in the middle of the sky. The brothers may Allah reward them placed the necessary efforts to uncovering his schemes and enough information was collected on this personality from many Islamic sources. This Jewish man spread the belief of `Ali’s (ra) divine Imamah and then he took it to the next level, he spread a belief in the Godliness of `Ali (ra), but he said nothing about the Imamah of eleven  other children from Husayn (ra). In other words, someone continued what he started! He was most active in the Khilafah of `Uthman (ra) and `Ali (ra), until he was exiled or killed as other narrations state.

This means that many people need to be looked into, their narrations studied and checked, such as: al-Mu`alla ibn Khunays, al-Mukhtar al-Kaysani al-Thaqafi, Jabir al-Ju`fi, Ibrahim ibn Hashim al-Qummi, Shaytan al-Taq abu Ja`far al-Ahwal ect…

1. al-Mu`alla ibn Khunays

Fudayl ibn Marzouq said that he asked the sons of `Ali bin al-Husayn (rah) about Imami Tashayyu`, they accused him of being behind the spreading of such evil beliefs:

Amount of Mutawatir Hadiths in Shiasm

Written by Farid
Posted by 13S2010

Alsalam alaykum,

This is a quote from Hashim Ma’arouf Al-Hasani, the Shi’ee hadith specialist, from his book Dirasaat fil Hadith wal Muhaditheen, p. 36, Dar Al-Ta’aruf (1426 AH):

Rough translation:

Al-Shaikh Abdulsamad (the father of Al-Baha’ee) in his risala about ilm al-diraya said: The mutawatir is what a group of people have narrated in which ilm (sure knowledge) is achieved, due to the impossibility of them conspiring to lie together usually, and this could be authentic on all levels or not, and he said: And the hadithists are almost unaware of this due to the lack of them (such hadiths), and like it is the Qur’an, the appearance of the Prophet (pbuh), the qibla, prayers and the number of raka’aat, the hajj, the amount of zakat, and things like these. Liking these to mutawtatir is a necessity of Islam. This liking makes one feel that the mutawatir in hadith is almost non-existent, due to the rarity of such in the narrations of the Prophet (pbuh) and the Imams.
