Shia scholar: The current Quran which was compiled by Uthman was changed

Shia scholar says that the Quran that was compiled by Uthman bin Affan (ra) which is the one have in our hands today was changed and corrupted but the Imams ordered the Shia to follow it out of taqqiyah  etc.

Akhbari Imami Twelver Shia scholar, al-Shaykh `Abdullah bin Salih al-Samahiji al-Bahrani says in his book “Muniyat al-Mumariseen – منية الممارسين”:

[The Qur’an compiled by `Uthman and the one in people’s hands, was in fact changed. The Imams ordered their Shia to follow it as that was for the best, also out of Taqiyyah so as to avoid a great Fitnah and calamity in the foundations of the Islamic religion.]

al-Tabrasi author of al-Ihtijaj & his belief on Tahrif Quran

al-Salamu `Aleykum,

First of all, we take the following quotes from the Shia books regarding the authority of this book called “al-Ihtijaj” which was authored by the Imami scholar abu Mansour Ahmad bin `Ali bin abi Talib al-Tabrasi (died around 600 hijri)

al-Majlisi said:

[And the book al-Ihtijaj, even if most of its narrations are Maraseel yet it is from the popular books, and al-Sayyid ibn Tawous praised it, and the majority of late scholars take knowledge from it.]

al-Khawansari said:

[The book al-Ihtijaj is authoritative and popular among our sect, it contains all the arguments of the Prophet and Imams and their noble companions against a group of evil ones.]

Researcher of “al-Ihtijaj” Sayyid Muhammad Baqir al-Khorasan said in the introduction:

[The book in its entirety is relied upon by the scholars and researchers, even though most of its narrations are Mursal. However, the great trust this author has, it planted in the souls of all authors the ability of relying on it, and quoting from it without verification and without researching the chains of its narrations.]

We don’t really care for its narrations, we only care for what the author abu Mansour al-Tabrasi himself says. We will quote what al-Majlisi quoted from the book al-Ihtijaj in his own book Bihar al-Anwar 89/43. Continue reading

Shia scholars and narrations claim verse 4:59 was distorted

Allah says in verse 59 of Surah Nisa:

Sahih International

O you who have believed, obey Allah and obey the Messenger and those in authority among you. And if you disagree over anything, refer it to Allah and the Messenger, if you should believe in Allah and the Last Day. That is the best [way] and best in result.

Notice the highlighted part. The Quranic verse only says “And if you disagree on anything, refer it to Allah and the Messenger”.

However, Shia narrations and scholars claim this part of the verse was distorted as it originally contained an additional phrase.

We read in Shia classical book Tafseer Al-Qumi (p. 135):

[He made their obedience obligatory on the people, so he said: {Believers, obey Allah, His Messenger, and your leaders} meaning Ameer al-Mu’mineen peace be upon him. My father told me, from Hamad bin Hurayz, from abu `Abdillah (as) that he said: “It was revealed: {refer it to Allah, His Messenger, and the leaders among you.}“]

A similar narration is present in Rawdat Al-Kafi #212 in which he recites the verse in that fashion, implying that the Qur’an is corrupted.

[`Ali bin Ibrahim, from his father, from ibn abi `Umayr, from `Umar bin Udhaynah, from Burayd bin Mu`awiyah that abu Ja`far (as) recited: {Believers, obey Allah, His Messenger, and your leaders, if ye fear that you would differ among yourselves then refer it to Allah and the messenger and your leaders} Then he (as) said: “How can he order their obedience then allow you to differ with them? He only meant the ones who are under orders when he said {Obey Allah and obey the messenger}.]

The narration was declared as “Hasan” by Al-Majlisi in his book “Mir’at al-`Uqoul” 26/76.

Al-Majlisi adds:

[It is apparent from many of the narrations that the term “and the leaders among you” was affirmed here, but was then removed.]

Alteration of a narration of al-Kafi by Shia – hiding their ugly beliefs

The original narration is this:

Imam Jafar (as) said: “The Quran that Gibrael (as) brought to Muhammad (saw) had 17,000 verses”.

According to Majlisi the narration is Authentic:(مرآة العقول، ج‏12، ص: 525، مجلسی ؛ دار الکتب اسلامیه_تهران،ط2)

Majlisi says about this narration:

Help needed in correcting the translation:

Hadith 28: It is Authentic. In some copies Harun bin Muslim is mentioned instead of Hisham bin Salim. Therefore, this narration is Authentic. It is not hidden that this narration and most of these Authentic narrations are clear about corruption and alteration of Quran. In my view the narrations of Tahreef of Quran are Mutawatir and throwing all these narrations makes the Hadith system unreliable rather I think that narrations of Tahreef are not less than the narrations of Imamate [thus if not accepting the narrations of Tahreef] how are they going to prove Imamate from narrations?

So the narrations of Tahreef of Quran are not only Mutawatir but they are also not less than the narrations of Imamate.

Now the altered one: In this version they replaced 17000 with 7000. Published by Darul Hadis Qum.

Shia Scholars of ‘Ahlulbayt’ and the Quran

Reality of the crisis between the Shia scholars and the Quran

This is a magnificent piece of research about the so called Shia Scholars of Ahlulbayt and so called School of Ahlulbayt. It is wake up call for open minded Shiites.

[Article Starts here]

The Fractious Schizophrenia

(Discussing the reality of the crisis between the Shia scholars and the Quran)

Preface:

The purpose of this brief study is to show the ‘Aqaed(beliefs) the Twelver Shia sect has concerning the holy book of Allah, and how their ‘Aqeedah(belief) pushes them away from this book and alienates them from it.

There is a crisis between the Shia scholars and the book of Allah, a crisis they will not admit to having in any debate or interview because the only thing they care about is to win and look as best as they can in the eyes of the people. this study shall uncover this crisis by exposing the root of the problem, a set of corrupt beliefs that the Shia scholars hold on to as part of their ‘Aqeedah (Which they attribute to Ahlul-Bayt).

Before I begin, I need to clarify that the purpose of this article is only to uncover the truth and that I do not doubt that the average Shia layman believes in everything that is found within the book of Allah and glorifies it as opposed to those wearing the black turbans. Although the time an average Shia laymen spends with the book of Allah is much less than that spent by the average Muslim from Ahlul-Sunnah, this is because their scholars keep them occupied with Nauhas and Maatam and weeping for al-Hussein (ra) and reading Ziyarat and doing Latmiyat instead of reciting the book of Allah. This is an honest cry to warn the average Shia laymen from the dangers of the beliefs that their scholars hold on to, beliefs that led them away from the book of Allah and made them estranged from it, poisonous beliefs that must not creep into the hearts of the average Shia laymen.
