Shia Preacher Mahdi Modarresi Debates a Sunni Researcher

Interesting Twitter discussion between the Sunni researcher Farid @Farid_BHR (now @Farid_0v) and the famous Shia preacher Sayed Mahdi Modarresi, the founder of the biggest Shia TV Channel in English language (Ahlulbayt TV).

Topic of the discussion: The alleged attack on the house of Sayyida Fatima.

Note: The Shia preacher refers to Prophet’s (ﷺ) closest friends Abubakr Siddiq and Omar as “idols” as well as saying they have special place in hell.
Note: The full screenshots are at the end of the page.

It all started from here:

“I regret ordering the ambush against the house of Fatima!” The proverbial smoking gun and self-incriminating confession of the culprit behind the attack..

An example of a Shia scholar quoting one hadith from MANY sources, when in reality they all go back to ONE weak narrator: Ulwan bin Dawud. Continue reading

Prophet (saw): Go to Abubakr if you do not find me

The Messenger of Allah (صلی الله علیه و سلم): Go to Abubakr if you do not find me.

A woman came to the Prophet (ﷺ) who ordered her to return to him again. She said, “What if I came and did not find you?” as if she wanted to say, “If I found you dead?” The Prophet (ﷺ) said, “If you should not find me, go to Abu Bakr.”

Shia religious authority calls for destruction of Abubakr & Umar’s graves

Twelver Shia Marja Grand Ayatollah Wahid Khorasani, the head of Hawza of Qom, one of the leading Shia scholars living today called on Shias to dig up the graves of prominent companions of the Prophet (saw), Abubakr al-Siddiq and Umar al-Farooq and exhume their bodies. The two rightly guided caliphs are buried next to the Prophet (saw) in the house of his wife, Sayyida Aisha Umul Momineen, which is now part of the Prophet’s (saw) Mosque.

The statement by this Shia religious authority can encourage Shia sectarian terrorist groups to attack the Mosque of the Prophet (saw) to target the graves.

Shia researcher & Debater admits the truth live on air

Salam `Aleykum,

I’ve first seen this `Iraqi Shia Doctor on “al-Mustaqillah” TV channel in 2008, where he was debating and advertising for the Shia Madhab in the daily TV episodes all throughout Ramadan.

Although polite and moderate in his approach, he used to be very critical of the Sahabah and very suspicious and often accused them of ill-intentions and conspiracies against the household.

Praise be to Allah, this Ramadan I was browsing youtube videos related to Tashayyu`, what I saw made tremble, the audacity and filth that is posted all around youtube, from Shia scholars claiming `Ali to be their Lord on the day of judgement, and others claiming the Imams turned sand into honey similar to the miracles of certain prophets, and stories of the Imams would revive the dead… all of it disgusting and is guaranteed to make you lose your appetite even in Ramadan… One video posted in 2014 caught my eye which said “Shia doctor is guided”, I saw the image of Sa`d al-Rifi`ee on the thumbnail but assumed the doctor was some unknown man who calls the show.

Praise be to Allah, I was wrong, and it turns out that after several years of debating, finally Dr.Sa`d al-Rifi`ee the respected `Iraqi Shia researcher admitted: “Abu Bakr may Allah be pleased with him held on to the Sunnah” and he said “`Umar bin al-Khattab was blessed by Allah may Allah be pleased with him and he made the conquests and spread the religion” and he said “`Uthman bin `Affan had many shortcomings but he was a good man…”

What happened is that his Rafidhi scholars couldn’t even wait until the episode ended, the Rafidhi `Ali al-Kourani called his cell-phone during the episode and humiliated him, he humiliated him because he made Du`a’ for the Sahabah, Sistani’s representative in Koufah also called him after the show and cursed him.

Author of Nahjul Balagha removed names of Abubakr & Umar

Al-Radi & al-Murtada distorting `Ali’s words

This topic was opened because as you all know al-Nahj is a chainless book, the authors took their material from various other sources, it’s clear they weren’t very honest since several of `Ali’s words in praising the Sahabah were not included in this book, however it seems that some praise for the Sahabah was later removed by al-Radi and his brother.

Take  this sermon 62 for instance:

It is found in an earlier source called al-Gharat by al-Thaqafi 1/306 who is an early Shia author, he writes:

Red parts are praise for the first two which was not included in Nahjul Balagha.

Or look at sermon 227 where the Rafidi replaces the word `Umar with “Fulan” so that no one may know who is being praised:

While in the earlier sources, such as Tareekh ibn Shubbah, `Alee openly says it’s `Umar:

Or Tareekh al-Tabari:

Even Ibn abi al-Hadeed said he saw the word `Umar under “Fulan” in al-Radi’s own handwriting, it’s as if he and his brother al-Murtada were not in agreement over disclosing who the man was.

The last day of the Prophet (saw)

The beautiful hadith shows that the Prophet (saw) on his last day was smiling cheerfully after seeing his companions praying in the mosque and Abubakr (ra) leading them. The same day the Prophet (saw) died.

Narrated Az-Zuhri:

Anas bin Malik Al-Ansari, told me, “Abu Bakr used to lead the people in prayer during the fatal illness of the Prophet (ﷺ) till it was Monday. When the people aligned (in rows) for the prayer the Prophet (ﷺ) lifted the curtain of his house and started looking at us and was standing at that time. His face was (glittering) like a page of the Qur’an and he smiled cheerfully. We were about to be put to trial for the pleasure of seeing the Prophet, Abu Bakr retreated to join the row as he thought that the Prophet (ﷺ) would lead the prayer. The Prophet (ﷺ) beckoned us to complete the prayer and he let the curtain fall. On the same day he died.”

‘Shia infallible’ Imam al-Jawad admits to Abu Bakr’s virtues

al-Salamu `Aleykum,

We often stumble upon things in Arabic websites and forums which we don’t translate due to their numbers and size, yet I thought of translating something just for old time’s sake.
There’s a very weak narration in praise of Abu Bakr which is found in some books, such as al-Majrouhin by ibn Hibban, where Jibreel tells Muhammad (saw) to ask Abu Bakr:

“The giver of peace greets him with peace and tells you (O Muhammad) to ask (Abu Bakr): Your Lord asks, are you pleased with me?”

Now some Shia decides to ask about this narration on “Aalulbayt Global Information Center” better known as “al-shia.org”, this is a renowned Shia website established by Sistani’s office as they themselves claim:

Here is the text of the Fatwa:

[Question: What is your response to: “O Abu Bakr, the giver of peace greets you with peace and says: I am pleased with you, are you pleased with me?”

Answer: We respond to you by this discussion between Yahya bin al-Aktham(Sunni scholar) and Imam Muhammad al-Jawad (as) in the presence of (Caliph) al-Ma’moun al-`Abbasi.

Yahya said: What say you O son of Rasul-Allah about the narration where Jibreel descends on Rasul-Allah (saw) and says: “O Muhammad, Allah greets you with peace and says: Ask Abu Bakr if he is pleased with me? As I am pleased with him.”

He (as) replied: I do not deny the virtue of Abu Bakr, but the narrator of this Hadith has to remember what Rasul-Allah (saw) said in his farewell sermon: “Many people lie about me and they will increase. Whoever attributes a lie to me intentionally, let him take his seat in hell.”

When you encounter a Hadith attributed to me, present it to Allah’s book and my Sunnah, whatever agrees with them take it, and whatever conflicts with Allah’s book and my Sunnah then reject it.

And this narration does not agree with Allah’s book, as Allah says: {And We have already created man and know what his soul whispers to him, and We are closer to him than [his] jugular vein}

Is Allah ignorant of Abu Bakr’s opinion of Him so that He may ask him about it!? That is impossible intellectually.]

First of all, the big disaster here is that al-Jawad says “I do not deny the virtue of Abu Bakr” which for extremist Rafidah who curse him day and night is like a kick to the face.

Secondly and what is more interesting, is the sheer weakness of the argument of al-Jawad, his rule of accepting and rejecting is what opposes the Qur’an and the Sunnah, yet in this narration he openly rejects the “Sunnah”. Then he says the Hadith does not agree with Allah’s book, as how can Allah ask him a question when Allah already knows what is in his heart? That is impossible!

Well it’s only impossible if you don’t know Allah’s book, since Allah in his book says:

{Allah will say, “O Jesus, Son of Mary, did you say to the people, ‘Take me and my mother as deities besides Allah?’}

And Allah says:

{And what is that in your right hand, O Moses?” – He said, “It is my staff; I lean upon it, and I bring down leaves for my sheep and I have therein other uses.”}

Rather this narration although weak, agrees perfectly with Allah’s book as He says:

{Allah is pleased with them and they are pleased with Him}

Alas the Shia insist on fabricating these reports and attributing them to Ahlul-Bayt in order to insult the Companions of Rasul-Allah (saw).
