Thing is, as long as he applies the teachings of our Holy Prophet Muhammad and his progeny to his life, he can never really leave them. The Imams just reinforce and elaborate upon the teaching of our Holy Prophet so that they fit the time in which the Imams lived, and everything the Imams said Muhammad PBUH said, and everything Prophet Muhammad PBUH said the Holy Quran backs up, so there is nothing to leave. Whether he believes that the 12th Imam is Al-Qa’im is up to him. If he believes that somebody will rise besides Prophet Issa (AS), then that’s all that matters. He still is a Muslim, and he still is considered a Shi’a if he wants to be so.

No offence, but I haven’t watched the whole video. I hope he’s not badmouthing any Holy figures in the Shi’a school of thought, because even though we encourage Freedom of Speech, we also encourage Diplomacy and sensitivity.
