Shia Hadiths say Jafar al-Sadiq used to add words to the Quran

al-Salamu `Aleykum,

according to al-Kafi, Ja`far al-Sadiq (rah) used to add words to the Qur’an.

al-Kafi vol 8 pg 290, Authenticated by Majlisi 26/316:

[`Ali bin Ibrahim from his father from `Ali bin Asbat from `Ali bin abi Hamzah from abu Baseer from abu `Abdillah (as):

{And they followed [instead] what the devils had recited with the authority of the devils during the reign of Solomon.}

And he also recited:

{Ask the Children of Israel how many a sign of evidence We have given them. So from them is he who believed, and from them is he who rejected, and from them is he who affirmed, and from them is he who changed, And whoever exchanges the favor of Allah [for disbelief] after it has come to him – then indeed, Allah is severe in penalty.}]

Correct verses are as follows:
{And they followed [instead] what the devils had recited during the reign of Solomon.} (Qur’an 2:102)

and:

{Ask the Children of Israel how many a sign of evidence We have given them. And whoever exchanges the favor of Allah [for disbelief] after it has come to him – then indeed, Allah is severe in penalty.} (Qur’an 2:211)

al-Kafi vol 8 pg 184, authenticated by Majlisi 26/75:

[`Ali bin Ibrahim from his father from `Ali bin Asbat from `Ali bin abi Hamzah from abu Baseer from abu `Abdillah (as):

{And if We had decreed upon them, “Kill yourselves and submit to the Imam in (full, willing) submission or Leave your homes,” they would not have done it, except for a few of them. And if the opponents did what they were instructed to do, it would have been better for them and a firmer position [for them in faith].}

and in this verse:

{and then find within themselves no discomfort from what you have judged in the matter of the leadership, and submit to Allah their obedience in [full, willing] submission.}]

Correct verses are as follows:
{And if We had decreed upon them, “Kill yourselves” or “Leave your homes,” they would not have done it, except for a few of them. But if they had done what they were instructed, it would have been better for them and a firmer position [for them in faith].}
(Qur’an 4:66)

And:
{But no, by your Lord, they will not [truly] believe until they make you, [O Muhammad], judge concerning that over which they dispute among themselves and then find within themselves no discomfort from what you have judged and submit in [full, willing] submission.}
(Qur’an 4:65)

al-Kafi vol 8 pg 205, authenticated by Majlisi 26/118:

[`Ali bin Ibrahim from his father from ibn abi `Umayr from Hammad bin `Uthman that he said: I recited to abu `Abdullah (as) {Two just men from among you} he said it is {A just man among you}: “This is from the mistakes of the writers.”]

Correct verse is as follows:
{O you who have believed, do not kill game while you are in the state of ihram. And whoever of you kills it intentionally – the penalty is an equivalent from sacrificial animals to what he killed, as judged by two just men among you as an offering [to Allah] delivered to the Ka’bah, or an expiation: the feeding of needy people or the equivalent of that in fasting, that he may taste the consequence of his deed. Allah has pardoned what is past; but whoever returns [to violation], then Allah will take retribution from him. And Allah is Exalted in Might and Owner of Retribution.} (Qur’an 5:95)

al-Kafi vol 1 pg 391, authenticated by Majlisi 4/283:

[`Ali bin Ibrahim from his father from ibn abi `Umayr from ibn Uthaynah from Zurarah or Burayd from abi Ja`far (as) that he said: “Allah addressed Ameer-ul-Mu’mineen in his book.” I said: “Where?” he (as) said:”In his saying

{And if, when they wronged themselves, they had come to you, and asked forgiveness of Allah and the Messenger had asked forgiveness for them, they would have found Allah Accepting of repentance and Merciful. But no, by your Lord, they will not [truly] believe until they make you, judge concerning that which they agreed on, that if Allah put Muhammad to death they shall never return this matter to bani Hashim and then find within themselves no discomfort from your judgement on them to either kill or forgive [them] and that they submit in [full, willing] submission.}”]

Correct verse is as follows:
{And We did not send any messenger except to be obeyed by permission of Allah. And if, when they wronged themselves, they had come to you, [O Muhammad], and asked forgiveness of Allah and the Messenger had asked forgiveness for them, they would have found Allah Accepting of repentance and Merciful.} (Qur’an 4:64)

{But no, by your Lord, they will not [truly] believe until they make you, [O Muhammad], judge concerning that over which they dispute among themselves and then find within themselves no discomfort from what you have judged and submit in [full, willing] submission.} (Qur’an 4:65)
What do all these have in common? `Ali bin Ibrahim and his trusty father Ibrahim bin Hashim al-Qummi ; )

As for those who will say anything regarding ibn abi Hamzah, al-Tusi said he was reliable in al-`Iddah.

    Here is the thing about shiites and the quran. Most of them will claim they believe in the quran in its true form but in reality even if what they say is true, their tafsir of the quran prooves that they dont actually believe in the words of the quran because they change it’s meaning to suit their desires.

    To give you an example, they deny that the wives of the prophet (saw) were part of ahlulbayt, yet in the quran Allah swt adressed the wives as ahlulbayt so what do shiites say about that? They say that verse was about ali, fatima, hussein and hassan etc (ra) even though it’s CRYSTAL CLEAR that it is about the wives (ra) since they are the ones adressed directly.

    Another example of how the shiites play around with the quran can be found regarding the story of prophet jacob (as) and him crying over his son prophet joseph (as), they use this verse to justify their matam i.e wailing, beating and stabbing themselves for hussein (ra). No sane person would consider the story of prophet jacob (as) as being about matam yet that is what shiites do. Their faith has absolutely no foundation in the quran, there is nothing for them in the quran to support their faith, on the contrary, the quran condemns such madness that shiaism stands for, so they resort to taking verses COMPLETLY out of context even though their true meaning is clear.

    Therefor muslims that are ignorant about shiaism need to stop saying ignorant things such as “sunnis and shiites both believe in the quran” in an attempt to unite muslims with shiites because they dont actually believe in the quran, because they change its meaning when it suits them.

    Likewise, muslims need to stop saying “we both believe in la ilaha illa allah mohammad rasool allah” because to a muslim la ilaha illa allah means that there is nobody that has any power that resembles that of Allah, nor do we make du’a to anyone but allah, nor do we ask help from anyone but allah etc, yet shiites claim that allah has created 12 imams that are infallible, and have super powers, and they make du’a to them and ask them for help: This is shirk! And regarding the other part of the shahada, to a muslim “mohammad rasool allah” also means that he is the last messenger PERIOD and nobody knew islam better than him, yet shiites believe that after prophethood, god created imamah where 12 imams are tasked to continue prophethood but under a diffirent name. Astaghfirallah. And they use lies claimed to come from these 12 muslim men that they refer to as the imams in their religion so they dont take their religion from mohammad rasool allah,

    Just like the bahai believe that prophet mohammad (saw) was a messenger so do shiites, but they have both turmed regular men in to prophet-like successors of the prophet mohammad (saw) so neither of them can be called muslim on the basis that they believe in la ilaha illa allah mohammad rasool allah,

    Every muslim should realize this because there is no greater threat to islam than that coming from those who claim to be muslim yet spread lies in the name of islam.

    Shiaism is not islam and 12.er shiites are not muslims. Some might say, well not all of them believe in such things, but if that had been true then they wouldnt be shiite in the first place! Sure, there are shiites who are ignorant about their religion and dont know what it stands for, but that doesnt make them muslim either since they are non-religious and just because they arent aware of their shiite religion, it doesnt mean that they are muslim in the same way that a non-religious christian who dont know everything that christianity stands for cant be a muslim.
