Allah[swt] angry at the Prophet[saw], Shia claim

بسم الله الرحمن الرحیم

The Rafidha, May Allah deal with them with His Justice, claim that Muhammad [saw] angered Allah [swt], as in the following narration:

عن ابن عباس قال: رأيت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وآله يوم فتح مكة متعلقا بأستار الكعبة وهو يقول
اللهم ابعث لي من بني عمي من يعضدني. فهبط عليه جبريل كالمغضب فقال
يا محمد، أوليس قد أيدك الله بسيف من سيوف الله مجرد على أعداء الله؟ يعني بذلك علي بن ابي طالب عليه السلام

“Reported Ibn Abbas: I have seen the Messenger [saw] on the Day of Conquest of Makkah hanging on the Ka’bah curtains, saying:

O Allah, send me a man from among my cousins to support me. Upon which, Gibrael descended as one with anger saying:

O Muhammad, did Allah not support you with one of Allah’s swords pulled against the enemies of Allah? Meaning by that Ali bin Abi Talib”

And, in another version: “Gibrael descended with anger”

See “Bihaar al-Anwaar, Muhammad Baqir al-Majlisi, vol. 41, p. 61
also, “The Forty” by Sheikh al-Mahoozy (d.1121) p. 335 (edited by Sayid Mahdi Rajaa’ei)

Ya3ni, in modern common language, Gibrael [as] was saying: “What’s wrong with you man ?!!”

That means, they are accusing the Messenger [saw] of being:

– Forgetful
– Stupid (wal-iyaathu-billah)
– Silly (wal-iyaathu-billah)
– Deservant of Allah’s anger (wal-iyaathu-billah)
– Fallible (wal-iyaathu-billah)

But would they dare to say the same about Ali [ra]? Heck no.
