Shirk in Tawheed or Shirk in Wilayah?

We read in the Holy Quran

ولقد أوحي إليك وإلى الذين من قبلك لئن أشركت ليحبطن عملك ولتكونن من الخاسرين

And certainly, it has been revealed to you and to those before you: Surely if you associate (with Allah), your work would certainly come to naught and you would certainly be of the losers.

Quran Surah az Zumr, 39/65

Now lets read its tafsir in Shia books

It is narrated from Imam Baqir that he was asked about the saying of Allah Almighty (Surely if you associate (with Allah), your work would certainly come to naught and you would certainly be of the losers) he said : Its tafsir is that If you order the wilayah of someone along with Ali, Allah’s blessings be upon him, after you than your work would fail and you would be amongst the losers.

Tafsir Nur al thaqalayn
Tafsir Qummi
Tafsir Safi

This is completely against Quran, because Quran says that this was revealed to the previous nations as well,

And if the wilayah of Ali was really as such that it was mentioned to the previous nations, and such strict warning were given to them as well, than we would have found in the Quran many verses about the wilayah of Ali. But in fact we don’t find a single verse which points to the wilayah of Ali. The Shias have attributed something to the Imam which if authentic would prove his negligence in the interpretation of the clear verse of Quran. This verse is clearly about the Oneness of Almighty Allah, not the wilayah of Ali.

More clearer, and according to Quran as well, and against the Shia religion, is the revelation to the previous nations about the sahaba of the Prophet (s)

Muhammad (SAW) is the Messenger of Allah, and those who are with him are severe against disbelievers, and merciful among themselves. You see them bowing and falling down prostrate (in prayer), seeking Bounty from Allah and (His) Good Pleasure. The mark of them (i.e. of their Faith) is on their faces (foreheads) from the traces of (their) prostration (during prayers). This is their description in the Taurat (Torah). But their description in the Injeel (Gospel) is like a (sown) seed which sends forth its shoot, then makes it strong, it then becomes thick, and it stands straight on its stem, delighting the sowers that He may enrage the disbelievers with them.

Quran/48/29

Think over the description of the Sahaba in injeel.
1. A seed which sends forth its shoot (the way Sahaba increased in number in the beginning)
2. Then makes it strong (the Sahaba gaining strength)
3. Then it becomes think and it stands straight on its stem (the Sahaba gaining more strength with the passage of time)
4. delighting the sowers that He may enrage the disbelievers with them (The disbelievers and after them, their children i.e the Shias, angry at the esteemed rank of the Sahaba)

According to Shias, a large portion of Sahaba were Munafiqeen. Who were Munafiqeen, they were the friends of the Disbelievers. How would the increase in number of the Munafiqeen enrage the disbelievers? The Shia logic is fail.

Again if we think over this verse

1. those who are with him are severe against disbelievers
2. merciful among themselves

What do the Shia believe? They believe that they were severe amongst themselves and merciful against the Disbelievers. Just like this munazir (debater) of Shiaforums has written in his signature. We don’t mind if the Shia believe so, may they succeed in gaining the deepest place in the hell, who cares, but the thing is that what they are saying is absolutely against Quran. When Quran is telling us exactly the opposite of the Shia religion. Perhaps the Quran with the Imam would have the words ‘merciful against the disbelievers, severe amongst themselves’.

  1. correctly, you say if the followers attributed this tafsir to an imam they were at fault because it doesnt accord with quran, of course we get similar inaccuracies attributed by sunni sources to prophet sawa, but you dont go into loooong-winded debates about it, we simply just over-look it, so why the double-standard?

Oooo Shia rafawidhs things just seem to get more and more confusing, the deeper you research in Shia Islam the more confused I get
